Never Stop Learning
For us, education doesn't end with our students. We want to bring the pleasures of great food and culinary culture to the general public as well.
Our free “Edu-Bite” Seminars series does just that. You’ll have the opportunity to discover new types of food and learn techniques that will give you the touch of a master when you return to your own kitchen. And the learning doesn’t stop there: “Edu-Bite” Seminars also bring you the latest news and trends in hospitality, cocktails, wines, beers and other food and beverage products worth investigating. These free educational seminars take place at our restaurant located in downtown Toronto which is steps away from the George Brown College Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts. ‘Food for thought’, indeed!
If you're looking to expand your abilities in the kitchen or learn more about a particular style of cooking or regional cuisine, then the Workshops offered through The Chefs' House are perfect for you. After all, “learning is our main ingredient”! These workshops cover an astonishing array of topics and are taught by world-famous guest chefs and other experts. From them, you will learn the fine details and delicate touches that separate the master chef from the merely competent, and increase your own skill and confidence in the kitchen.
