The Ontario Hostelry Institute

The Ontario Hostelry Institute has under its aegis created the CULINARY FOUNDATION for CHEFS, which will be designed to be supportive, through the initiation of a range of events and activities, that applaud and celebrate and showcase our national and international culinary masters and the growing numbers of rising star Ontario and Canadian Chefs.

ACTIVITIES:

In partnership with the Chefs' School at George Brown College, the OHI's CULINARY FOUNDATION for CHEFS will develop a unique category of Awards that will shine a spotlight on the best and brightest talent in our culinary, foodservice and beverage industry. Together, both organizations will work to develop the CULINARY WALK of FAME.

HIGHLIGHTS:

The CULINARY FOUNDATION for CHEFS will work with the Chefs' School and The Chefs'House as a showcase that will pay tribute to Chefs and their creations, together with their interpretative use of the best of our fine local and Canadian grown and produced bounty of foods and the VQA Ontario and Canadian wines and their provenance, as they recreate their exciting dining experiences that are garnering wider and wider critical acclaim. This unique undertaking will involve the Foundation's Council of Advisors and will take place in The Chefs' House.
